Blog Post Assignment 2

When I began my AP class on the first day of school, I felt that I was prepared. My first block is AP Chemistry, in the beginning, I was excited because I have taken this class before and I enjoyed it. When I got further into the class during these last two weeks I noticed that it is more challenging than honor classes and the class moves faster. My third block is Pre-Calculus and I enjoy math so, that class is not as difficult. My fourth block is AP English, the hardest class of them all. This class is treated as a college class. In this class, every assignment is timed and I am not accustomed to this yet, therefore, every assignment in class and out has been a hardship for me. Comparison of Infant Joy and Infant Sorrow

Infant Joy is a poem written by William Blake that is describing how new born could bring joy into the world. In Infant Joy the speaker is speaking as the infant to show how the infant is innocent and can not help but to be joyful. This novel is explaining to readers that an infant comes into the world unamed but still is full of happiness. When a child is brung into the world there are mixed emotions of happiness and sadness. In Infant Sorrow the unhappiness of an infant being born is described. In this poem the speaker is speaking to the parents of the world who are scared when their child is born.  This describes that as the child is born into this world they are only used to being in their mothers wound. When the infant is released from the wound it is released into thia toxic society that would push him towards his mothers breast. Reflection/Daily Blog

In the Color Purple, from the looks of Celia’s letters she has had a tragic child hood that may affect her in her adult life. She describes every detail about her trauma which makes me understand the pain and suffering she has went through. From reading her letters, I could tell that she is strong because even thought she is going through her issues with her father she still finds a way to try and protect her sister from being in the predicament that she is in. The Color Purple seems like a great book that will give me a lot of opportunities to improve my analysing skills. Daily Blog: My day has been filled with irritation, anger, and trouble as usual, but like all the other days I find a way to make it through.
